Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Straightforward Western from a generally straightforward film-maker. Hudson and new bride Reed are on their way West when she's kidnapped by bad 'un Carey and his gang (including youthful varmint Marvin), leaving her man no choice but to lay down his pacifist ideals and give chase. 'A man's gotta do,' in other words, though in this instance Rock's flamboyant performance rather overdoes it.
