Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

This tense little thriller with a touch of the Stephen Kings shows what happens when a series of power surges turns an ordinary Los Angeles household into a death-trap. An uneasy exposition with well-handled effects gives way to a disappointing resolution. As tends to be the case in these affairs, the film-makers can't think up much of a reason why the electrics should go berserk in the first place.
