Hero at Large (1979)
Director: Martin Davidson
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Very obvious comedy with uncharismatic Ritter as an unemployed actor who gets a job running around in a costume to promote the Captain Avenger comic strip, then after bravely stopping a grocery store robbery decides he'd quite like to go into the superhero business himself. Archer's the wholly disinterested girl-next-door, Convy the scheming PR exec who sees a way of exploiting the Captain's derring-do to his own ends.Author: TJ
