Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

The gimmick is all three are women. Superheroines of the near future battle ancestral evils in labyrinthine caverns beneath city streets. This is quintessential Hong Kong pulp fiction, conflating elements of sci-fi, horror, noir, thriller, the supernatural, action-adventure and instant pathos. The plot involves kidnapped boys, one of whom will be chosen as puppet monarch of some imaginary China, the rest turned into zombie cannibals. Good support from Anthony Wong as a meathead sentinel who eats his own severed fingers.
