March or Die (1977)
Director: Dick Richards
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
This uncertain conflation of Morocco, Beau Geste and The Four Feathers can't decide whether to take its Foreign Legion clichés at face value or to parody them. Hill's hard luck hero is OK, and Holm refines his oily Arab party piece, but as in so many Lew Grade confections, most of the cast are pure window-dressing. Despite Richards' helmsmanship, a yarn which obstinately refuses to rip.Author: PT
