Shoddy, unspeakably inept sci-fi disaster movie, with America and Russia combining forces when a meteor on collision course threatens to destroy the earth. Shored up by tacky effects and a predictable hands-across-the-Iron-Curtain romance between Yank scientist (Connery) and Red interpreter (Wood). See it on peril of death by boredom.
