Mindwarp (1990)
Director: Steve Barnett
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A post-apocalyptic gore-fest funded by Fangoria magazine. Frustrated by the antiseptic underground environment of Inworld, with its narcotic, computer-induced fantasy images, Judy (Alicia) flees to the ravaged wasteland above. There, she teams up with post-apocalyptic Jeremiah Johnson figure Stover (Campbell), and together they confront The Seer (Scrimm), crazed leader of a religious cult based on salvaged scrap materials and human sacrifice. Eye-gouging, blood-spurting nastiness compensates for some ramshackle plotting.Author: NF
