Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A Hollywood remake of the French comedy Mon Père, ce héros in which Depardieu reprises his role as the discomforted father of a pubescent girl. André arrives at the apartment of his ex-wife (Hutton) to whisk daughter Nicole on a get-to-know-you vacation. In Nassau, Nicole (Heigl) is mortified at the idea of anyone suspecting he's her father and starts fabricating a lifestyle to impress heart-throb Ben (James). Meanwhile lonely André falls for the local manhunter Diana. Makes Baywatch seem intellectual.
