Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Battered but unbowed, rodeo rider Glenn returns from the circuit dismayed to find pa Johnson in an old folks home, and running straight up against the rest of the family who reckon the old bastard should stay there. Glenn's world-weary performance brings a glimmer of real heart to this sagebrush saga, though the rekindling of romance with former high school sweetheart Capshaw and his eventual return to the bull ring are such contrivances that the characters don't stand much of a chance.
