My Mother Likes Women (2001)
Director: Inés Paris, Daniela Fejerman
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A reversal of the usual coming-out story, this family farce sees three daughters freak out when their middle-aged mum (Sardã) announces not just a girlfriend, but one young enough to be her daughter. Making deliciously wicked plans to split up the happy couple, the siblings decide that an infidelity is required and that one of them will have to seduce the girlfriend. 'That's sick,' they scream, but go ahead with the plan anyway. The sweet lesbian romance is tested in a series of of enjoyably light-handed vignettes.Author: FW
