Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Brisk little Western. Bernds has a knack for action and keeps matters galloping along. Set in Kansas during the Civil War, the story concerns a Confederate outlaw's attempt to blow up a Yankee ammunition dump. Gordon, fresh from playing Dillinger in Baby Face Nelson, is as mean a varmint as anybody could wish to find on the open plains. Cochran, who'd just appeared in Antonioni's Il Grido, is the Gary Cooper-like hero.
