Scènes de Crimes (1999)
Director: Frédéric Schoendoerffer
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Despite the presence of art-house favourites Dussollier and Berling as the cops on the trail of a serial killer with a dismemberment fetish, this grim thriller turns out to be a mostly routine assignment, about on a par with TV's Cracker or Prime Suspect. Downbeat and determinedly unpleasant, the film is at least reasonably credible in the police procedural stakes.Author: TCh
