Screaming Mimi (1958)
Director: Gerd Oswald
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Curious cod Freudian potboiler from a novel by Fredric Brown with Ekberg playing a woman who topples into a nervous breakdown after being sexually assaulted, takes a job as a stripper, and ends up on the couch of a dubious shrink. If only Oswald had injected such a provocative scenario with the same eerie imagination that fuelled his version of A Kiss Before Dying then this might have been truly something to shout about.Author: LF
