The Sea Chase (1955)
Director: John Farrow
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
WWII yarn with The Duke as a German, though not of course a card-carrying Nazi. That's Lana Turner as a sultry spy who goes all gooey. The Duke is captain of a freighter leaving Sydney Harbour en route for the Mudderland as the war begins. If he makes it across the Pacific and the Atlantic, he'll be arrested for not card-carrying; and if he doesn't - then blame the British Navy, who have him in their gunsights. Lyle Bettger makes a strutting SS psycho, and Tab Hunter is a very Aryan-looking cadet.Author: ATu
