Shining Victory (1941)
Director: Irving Rapper
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Perfunctory medical drama, adapted from an AJ Cronin play (Jupiter Laughs), in which Stephenson is a gifted scientist who takes a posting at a private Scottish mental hospital after his earlier reasearch results have been commandeered by an unscrupulous Budapest department head. In the new environment, he at first fails to register nurse Fitzgerald's affection for him, but the jealousy of co-worker O'Neil soon snaps the plot into predictable shape.Author: TJ
