Sleep With Me (1994)
Director: Rory Kelly
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Dreamed up over drinks by Eric Stoltz, Rory Kelly and their writing buddies, this contemporary relationships comedy might be described as a kind of Californian Four Weddings and a Funeral - just forget any religious aspect! Instead we have half a dozen party scenes (each by a different screenwriter), spanning the period between Stoltz's wedding to Tilly and the near breakdown of their relationship a few months later. The twenty-something central drama is not desperately engaging, but the ensemble scenes around it are well observed and often acutely funny, with each party plumbing new depths of social embarrassment.Author: TCh
