From Time Out Film Guide

Just how much can go wrong for a headstrong young woman in Hamburg during one long dark night of the soul? You'd be hard pushed to beat the catalogue of catastrophes, potential and actual, faced by the self-destructive heroine of this compelling but often implausible digital fable. Dystopian melodrama rather than credibly serious drama, especially towards the hysterical end, it gets by on a powerhouse lead performance from Schüttler, who brings a real sense of humour, despair and devil may care courage to an undernourished plot.
