Stamboul Quest (1934)
Director: Sam Wood
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Good credits for this hokey slice of MGM exotica. Written by Herman J Mankiewicz (Citizen Kane), photographed by James Wong Howe, and directed by the reliable Sam Wood, the only thing wrong is that it's nothing special. Loy's a top German agent during WWI, Brent's the American student vacationing in Turkey, the rest (romance, espionage, the studio backlot) you can probably figure out for yourself.Author: TJ
