Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Kirk, Scottie and Chekov join the inaugural voyage of a newly commissioned Starship, but when Kirk (Shatner) is 'killed' while facing evil immortality-seeker Dr Soran (McDowell), he gets lost in the mists of time, while the plot jumps forward 78 years and goes on without him. Then, the Next Generation commanded by Picard (Stewart) takes over, confronting the ageless Soran and his Klingon cohorts as Soran tries to re-enter the Utopian time continuum of the Nexus, where past, present and future are one. The series' dullest instalment.
