Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

No-budget British war movie (avoid confusion with Sam Fuller's The Steel Helmet or Fixed Bayonets) directed by Michael Carreras, a Hammer studios' mainstay. Salisbury Plain stands in for Tunis, 1943, as a group of infantrymen hold a farmhouse dangerously close to enemy lines. Despite an honourable effort in the direction of psychological grittiness, the picture never really exerts much grip.
