Submarine X-1 (1967)
Director: William Graham
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Standard WWII drama in which Lt Commander Caan and his three midget subs mount a revenge attack on the German battleship 'Lidendorf' in a Norwegian fjord. Writer/producer John Champion churned out another very similar picture, Paul Wendkos' Attack on the Iron Coast, in 1967, also for the Mirisch company. Caan's career had not quite turned the corner, and he found little to get his teeth into in this attenuated story.Author: TJ
