I Am a Sex Addict (1993)
Director: Vikram Jean Vikram Jayanti, John Powers
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
In America, it's said, 300,000 people are trying to break the habit: sex addiction, that is. An off-shoot of the vogue sex-talk TV show, this documentary was deemed too explicit for the BBC. In fact, it's unsensational, but on occasion unapologetically voyeuristic. Most of the eight interviewees are sad and lonely - not so much dependent, perhaps, as just plain desperate. Hubert Selby Jr provides whimsical intellectual annotations.Author: TCh
