Ice Station Zebra (1968)
Director: John Sturges
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A passable yarn about a race for a Russian satellite that comes down near the North Pole, blighted by some heavy-handed irony. Borgnine hams outrageously, Hudson manages better than you'd expect, and McGoohan turns in a good performance. It's not saying much, but Sturges has been responsible for two of the more successful Alistair MacLean adventures, this and The Satan Bug.Author: CPe
