Ring of Bright Water (1969)
Director: Jack Couffer
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Civil servant Travers and pet otter Mij forsake their cramped London flat for the wide-open spaces of the Scottish Highlands and the tender care of Dr McKenna in this much-loved everyday story of furry folk (from the book by Gavin Maxwell). Accomplished wildlife photography, and solid work from the cast, who are old hands at this sort of thing. The 'aahhh' factor is not insubstantial.Author: TJ
