Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (2000)
Director: Paul Demeyer, Stig Bergqvist
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
It makes a change to see a TV-inspired kids' movie that's not only competently animated but whose storyline and level of dialogue don't induce drowsiness in accompanying adults. This merchandise tie-in begins at home in America. After seeing his cousins cuddling up to their respective family members, motherless rugrat Chuckie yearns to do the same. The rugrats cast accompany Tommy to Paris where his father must fix a theme park's malfunctioning dinosaur ride. The park's manageress has learned that her boss plans to retire and is looking for a suitable 'family-oriented' successor. If only she could persuade Chuckie's lonesome father to marry her. This is one kids' film that's actually quite charming.Author: DA
