Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Siegel's last film, and, by all accounts, an unhappy experience. Midler conspires with blackjack dealer Wahl to kill her partner Rip Torn, which would leave her free to continue their romance and him free from the uncomfortable winning streak Torn had been enjoying at his tables. An obvious lack of rapport between Midler and Wahl doesn't help Frank D Gilroy's much rewritten script (credited to 'Bert Blessing').
