From Time Out Film Guide

Childhood polio has left musician Kristy McNichol feeling as if life hasn't treated her right, so she heads for a ski resort in the French Alps, puts her leg in a cast, and waits to see what people - particularly men - make of her now. This comedy-drama-romance, from the director of La Cage aux Folles, never quite hangs together and threatens to get rather spongy, but McNichol's appealing performance holds the interest throughout.
