Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Flynn's last swashbuckler, and - surprisingly - not half bad, even though the climactic duel with Robert Douglas had to be completed with doubles for both actors. A lavish, elegant tale of the fencing-master who trades on the queen's susceptibility to prevent Spain from raising a second Armada, it has gorgeous colour camerawork (Elwood Bredell) and a nice line in mocking wit.
