Purporting to be a dispassionate documentary about the 'birth struggles' of an Africa freeing itself from colonialism, this was banned all over the continent except for South Africa, where it played to packed houses. Atrocity after atrocity is shown, with no real concern to analyse the context. It's all very interesting, but as one might expect from the team that produced the notorious Mondo Cane, the motives are undeniably exploitative.
