Alfredo Alfredo (1971)
Director: Pietro Germi
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Snails are both faster and funnier than this limp little man vs big women sex comedy, which manages to waste not only Hoffman but also Sandrelli, a fine caricaturist of the Italian female (see The Conformist): their subtleties of characterisation are all but steamrollered by vile mid-Atlantic dubbing. The end result is exactly the kind of mediocrity Woody Allen parodied so beautifully in Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex.Author: GD
