Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Documentary about the 1978 final of this drag contest, a monumental folly inaugurated in 1972 by Andrew Logan. Director Gayor charts each step in the proceedings with sycophantic relish, from the marquee being erected on Clapham Common to the walk-around itself. But if you enjoy gossip column vitriol, showbiz decadence, and a particularly vacuous brand of performance art, this is your experience.
