An American Werewolf in Paris (1997)
Director: Anthony Waller
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Forget Landis's fondly remembered jape, An American Werewolf in London (1981), this is a cash-in title. Scott (Hanks' alter ego in That Thing You Do) is about to make a midnight bungee-jump from the Eiffel Tower when a wan, tearful Delpy throws herself off. Seconds later, he's fallen for her and she's at the end of his tether. Too bad she has so many skeletons in her closet (including both parents). Waller's Mute Witness indicated he had the necessary credentials, but the most frightening thing about this effort is how unfunny it is.Author: TCh
