Ash Wednesday (1973)
Director: Larry Peerce
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Liz, aged 55, sagging and wrinkled in a carefully cosmetic sort of way, secretly undergoes a face and body lift in an attempt to rejuvenate herself and her marriage. In what is little more than a homage to Taylor's face, the film spends a good deal of time looking at her reflection in the mirror and endorsing her Martini ad lifestyle up to the hilt.Author:
