Avalanche Express (1979)
Director: Mark Robson
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Formulary East-West spy saga involving a KGB defector, a biological warfare programme, and running battles on the transcontinental express. Hammily acted and obviously subject to cobbling after both Robson and Shaw died before the film was completed, it's awful but given a certain fascination by the disjunctive editing style which reduces Abraham Polonsky's script to an abstraction, and which it is tempting to ascribe to Monte Hellman (called upon for 'post-production services' after Robson's death).Author: TM
