Away All Boats (1956)
Director: Joseph Pevney
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Standard-issue WWII action picture (from a novel by Kenneth M Dodson) follows a US Navy transport boat as Capt Chandler and his inexperienced crew see a good deal of wide-screen combat in the Pacific. Competently staged, though the (post-war) flagwaving is as trite as the characterisation. A young Clint Eastwood appears some way down the cast list.Author: TJ
