Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A professional hit-man agrees to carry out a rush job on a woman for his usual fee - plus therapy sessions. When he meets the victim, however, she's only too willing to cooperate, and of course he falls in love. Malone's directorial debut (after script credits for Dead of Winter and Signs of Life) gets a certain amount of mileage out of this little noir conceit, but conceit is all we get: the movie's all talk and no action. It's let down by the leads, LaPaglia and Rogers (both shown up by Peter Boyle's genial mob boss), who fail to generate any kind of spark.
