The Killer Is Loose (1955)
Director: Budd Boetticher
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A low budget quickie which bustles through its itinerary (bank heist, jail break, manhunt, about one sudden death per reel) with efficiency and despatch, if not much credibility. The manhunt is for soft-spoken psycho Corey, who's prowling a rainswept LA, fixated on killing cop's wife Fleming. The latter character is the film's big liability (no fault of the actress), forever nagging husband Cotten to forget all this police stuff and come away with her to the beach.Author: BBa
