Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

In 1943 the Nazis executed 24 Resistance 'terrorists'. The victims were Jews, mainly from Eastern Europe, mainly communists. Boucault interviews the survivors of the group - septuagenarians re-enacting the heroism of youth - and suggests de Gaulle and the leaders of the French Underground 'sacrificed' their comrades. That the film was suppressed in France for years suggests he may be right.
