From Time Out Film Guide

Rudolph Lothar and Hans Adler's play The Red Cat was first adapted for the cinema as Folies Bergère de Paris (Roy Del Ruth, 1935), with Maurice Chevalier, and later metamorphosed into On the Riviera (Walter Lang, 1951), with Danny Kaye. Between times it served in this Fox frolic. Dapper count Ameche lands in bother when spouse Faye unwittingly hires a showbiz entertainer (his own secret sideline) to impersonate him as part of a business deal, a situation that requires nifty footwork when, as the nightclub impressionist rather than the married aristo, he falls for Faye all over again. Miranda strutts her stuff to a little ditty titled, 'Chica, Chica Boom Chic'.
