Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Gómez is Angel, a bug fumigator with schizophrenic tendencies, called in to clear up the woodlice infecting a wine-growing district. The first thing he sees is an electrified sheep smouldering by the roadside after being struck by lightning. This is the kind of movie where lightning always strikes twice, a metaphysical melodrama which mixes everything up: absurdism, symbolism, romanticism, surrealism, and any other -ism you can think of. An acquired taste, perhaps, but distinctive.
