Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Tigger's suffering a bit of an identity crisis. Convinced there are other 'Tiggers' beyond the wood, Christopher Robin's disillusioned toy tiger is seriously considering quitting the place and heading over yonder in search of his non-existent relatives. His wiser playmates (including Pooh) sense a nervous breakdown on the horizon and, in an effort to placate him, pen a fictitious letter, allegedly from his estranged cousins. But things go terribly wrong. Disney's stop gap between its larger, more commercial offerings sticks fairly rigidly to the look of AA Milne's original cartoons and books, with a style of animation which is at best purposeful. What this simple, moralistic tale really lacks, though, is some get up and go. Needless to say, tiny tots will be enthralled.
