From Time Out Film Guide

Kurosawa regular Tatsuya Nakadai is the ruthless villain who murders the Indian wife of Bill Kiowa (Halsey) then ensures that the grieving widower is framed for the killing. A five-man revenge posse is soon on the agenda in this worthwhile Italian Western. Some deft touches in a script co-written by horror specialist Dario Argento. The well-sustained climax takes place against a memorable autumnal landscape.
