Dreadful pap about a young nurse (Raffin) starting work at a home for handicapped children, finally managing to break the communication barrier with a girl obsessed by Elvis Presley (a pen-pal letter from Elvis figures in the therapy) and dying from cerebral palsy. Based on a true story, but sanitised throughout; only Raines, as Raffin's cynical room-mate, adds a touch of reality.
