This adaptation of Raymond Carver's story Neighbors is an exemplary short. While the neighbours are on vacation, a vaguely bored suburban couple agree to tend their fishtank, and find their lives subtly transformed by their insights into and impressions of other people's private lives. Stylishly shot, wittily scripted and beautifully performed.
