Two Weeks with Love (1950)
Director: Roy Rowland
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Nostalgic, turn-of-the-century musical set in the Catskills, and dealing with the romantic adventures of sisters Powell and Reynolds while on holiday with their parents. Busby Berkeley supervised the dance routines, but it's the lively Reynolds who steals the show, singing 'Aba Daba Honeymoon' with her gangling boyfriend Carpenter. There's a weird Freudian dream sequence, too, with Reynolds' underdeveloped sister (Powell) longing to be fitted with a corset, as well as swept off her feet by the handsome Montalban.Author: NF
