Lady by Choice (1934)
Director: David Burton
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A sequel to Capra's Damon Runyon adaptation of the previous year, Lady for a Day, this helping of Hollywood hogwash has a second-hand feel. Lombard reprises her role as a fan-dancer, this time ripe for reform when she 'adopts' curmudgeonly old bag lady Robson in a Mother's Day publicity stunt. Mildly agreeable, but it would be very easy to overstate its modest quality.Author: TJ
