Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A diamond caper movie that promises well but wastes its opportunities and ends up modish and vacuous. Sutherland plays an insurance agent tracking down Jennifer O'Neill's poor little rich girl. He clearly enjoys himself, giving the complete antithesis of his silent detective in Klute, but she is hardly a worthy opponent. The film falls to pieces halfway through when the emphasis shifts away from the plot (which becomes too boring to follow anyway) and onto the two main characters, who spend the rest of the film in mutual admiration, eyeing each other and making half-hearted passes.
