The Legend of Frenchie King (1971)
Director: Christian-Jaque
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
This lame attempt to repeat the success of Malle's Viva Maria sees Bardot and Cardinale as gunfighters in the West, feuding and scratching each other's eyes out over the title-deeds to a ranch soaked in oil, with the baby-faced Pollard mugging away as the harassed sheriff. Set in a French settlement, with the characters making wiz ze ooh-la-la accents in the dubbed version. Dreadfully unfunny.Author: GA
