Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Fans of Warhol's work, with its complete disregard for logic, characterisation and chronology, will revel in this 'Western'. It encapsulates the essence of '60s decadence, with all of the cast (and probably the crew) high on acid and passing the joints around, but it does raise several interesting questions about the early pioneering days. The naturalness of sex between men who were living together, riding together and dying together on the lonesome trail is a concept not even hinted at in conventional Westerns, let alone explored. The film is by turns hilarious, camp, aggravating and bizarre; no awards for the acting, however, which varies between the incompetent and the amateur.
