Love Is a Ball (1963)
Director: David Swift
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A syrupy Michel Legrand score, European locations and much Hollywood Franglais mark this disposable filler (from Lindsay Hardy's novel The Grand Duke and Mr Pimm) as society matchmaker Boyer hopes to fix up penniless duke Montalban with Lange's American heiress, who of course falls for Ford's dashing racing driver. Neither film title quite hits the mark.Author: TJ
